Kastandra's B&B, 6 Athlone Road, Mount Croix, Port Elizabeth

Kastandra's comprises a private, cosy, separate cottage, one self-catering bedsit and one B&B garden room in the quiet suburb of Mount Croix. It is close to the heart of town and just a short walk from shops, coffee houses/cafés and restaurants.

A short drive takes you to St George's Park with its shady walks, cricket, tennis, swimming and bowls venues or to Greenacres and The Bridge shopping mall. Trips to the cinema or to the beachfront with its numerous attractions, including restaurants and the Boardwalk casino and entertainment complex, are also only 10-15 minutes by car. It is also within one kilometre of the new Port Elizabeth stadium.

Cottage: The one-bedroom cottage has a spacious kitchen/lounge area with a breakfast counter, bar stools, couch - doubling as a spacious sleeper couch - TV and coffee table. Should you wish to cater for yourself rather than take advantage of the city's wide choice of restaurants, it is well-equipped with a large fridge/freezer, microwave, mini-kitchen, toaster, percolator and all the pots, pans, crockery and cutlery you might require.

For overnight stays a continental breakfast is supplied to your cottage and placed in your fridge for you to enjoy at your convenience.
The bedroom has twin beds (convertible to a king) and looks out onto the braai area and pool, which are there for your use. The artistically decorated bathroom has a bath and shower combination, toilet and hand basins.

Out of Africa Room: This is a separate en-suite room situated in the garden next to the pool. It contains a comfortable ¾ bed, large wardrobe and desk with tea and toast making facilities.

The Green Door: Is a bedsit situated at the back of the main house with its own entrance. There are wooden floors with a well-appointed kitchenette containing a bar fridge, microwave, 2-plate stove, kettle, toaster and other kitchen utensils. On the other side of the kitchenette there are built in cupboards for storage, shower over a cast iron bath, toilet and basin. The bedroom has a double bed, TV, wardrobe, chest of drawers, desk and 2 chairs.

Kastandra’s is the perfect location whether you are visiting Port Elizabeth for business, are relocating, or here for pleasure and are looking for a private home-away-from-home experience.

There is DSTV (selected channels only) and WiFi access. There is acess to a large garden and a protected pool. A camp cot is available on request.
