Kastandra's B&B, 6 Athlone Road, Mount Croix, Port Elizabeth

Kastandra's is a private, cosy, separate cottage in the quiet suburb of Mount Croix. The cottage is very close to the heart of town and just a short walk from shops, coffee houses/ cafés and restaurants.

A short drive takes you to St George's Park with its shady walks, cricket, tennis, swimming and bowls venues ,or to Greenacres and The Bridge shopping mall. Trips to the cinema or to, the beachfront, with its numerous attractions, including restaurants and the Boardwalk casino and entertainment complex, are also only 10-15 minutes by car. It is the perfect accommodation for the 2010 Soccer World Cup as it is within one kilometre of the stadium.

Provincial, St George’s and Greenacres Hospitals are also both within easy travelling distance.

Kastandra’s is the perfect location whether you are visiting Port Elizabeth for business or for pleasure, or if you are looking for a private home-away-from-home.

The cottage has its own off-street parking. As you enter the cottage via the open plan lounge and kitchen area, you will be greeted with views onto the garden and trees.

The kitchen has a breakfast counter and, should you wish to cater for yourself rather than take advantage of the city's wide choice of restaurants, it is well-equipped with fridge/freezer, microwave, mini-kitchen , toaster, percolator, and all the pots, pans, crockery, cutlery you might require.

For overnight stays a continental breakfast is supplied to your cottage and placed in your fridge for you to enjoy at your convenience.

The bedroom has twin beds (convertible to a king) and looks out onto the braai area and pool, which are there for your use. The artistically decorated bathroom has a bath and shower combination, toilet and hand basins.

In addition to the twin bedroom, there is a sleeper couch for an additional adult, couple or children. Kastandra's is child friendly with access to a large garden and a protected pool. A camp cot, feeding chair, stroller, car seat and toys are all available on request. There is DSTV (selected channels only) and WiFi access.
